Friends of a North Carolina college student killed in a possible hit-and-run in Myrtle Beach will gather Monday on campus to remember him. Jackson Yelle, a student at Elon University, was killed early Sunday in what is being investigated as a hit-and-run in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The school reported that he was on a weekend trip with members of the club baseball team. The Myrtle Beach Police Department said a male was found dead about 7:30 a.m. Sunday beside the Highway 17 Bypass north of 21st Avenue North.
