From the tee box on this par-4 18th at True Blue Golf Club water stretches to the green with the clubhouse just behind. cslate@thesunnews.com It's no secret that golf is popular in Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand area. The area offers players over 90 courses. And many of those have made the list of the best public golf courses in South Carolina. Golfweek magazine released its list of best public courses by state recently. The Grand Strand was home to 12 of the 20 South Carolina locations selected.
