South Carolina has three of the top 25 places to live in the South, a new U.S. News and World Report ranking says. Myrtle Beach, Greenville and Spartanburg made the list, where municipalities were scored on job market, cost of living, schools, employment prospects, desirability and overall well-being. The list stated that people were excited to live in Myrtle Beach, which was ninth on the list. With the area growing fast, a separate U.S. News index ranked Myrtle Beach as the most desirable city in the country.
